How does it work?
With Pet Payments, Purchasers pay the whole Price up front. Why? Our Local Authority approved contract only requires a 50% Instalment until after pups are Vet Checked and cleared to go to their new homes. Further, by the time you part with any money you will most likely have visited our family home, without obligation, to satisfy yourself of our credibility, our dogs and our facilities.
Does it cost more?
Pets4Homes charge Purchasers up to 7.5% premium for the supposed privilege. Hmm, what for, exactly? There appears to be no good reason for this, other than to make money off the back of others.
Is the Breeder protected before you collect?
The hardworking Breeder supplying the real product can only receive a maximum 25% Deposit until AFTER collection of the pup. That represents a significant 75% risk, without any remote justification.
Does the Breeder get paid after you collect?
Final payment to the Breeder is at the discretion of Pets4Homes, whom have a massive conflict of interest due to their overriding financial interest in holding the money from one day to the next - ask them what interest rate they are earning!
Pets4Homes Pet Payments; Really?!
Whether you are a Breeder (professional or not) or a Purchaser, you need to read and understand this article. Once you have, please share it, far and wide, in order that the callous manipulation of the pup market can be curtailed, and the true values of dog breeding can be restored to those that deserve it - the genuine breeders.
Are Pets4Homes regulated to hold your money?
Pets4Homes (Pet Media Limited) is not in any way regulated to hold client or stakeholder funds. You can trust me on that, as I am a Chartered Surveyor and handled regulated client's money for nearly three decades. Frankly, that leaves Purchasers and Breeders at equal risk (a lot!), but with none to the big beneficiary - Pets4Homes!
Does this really protect you?
Not in our opinion. If you are not convinced by our 5 Star Licence and a visit (without obligation), there is no helping you!
Does this improve animal welfare?
Not in any particular way, as far as we can see.
So, why has it been created?
Simple; money and control. Remember, Breeders and advertisers have already paid to be on Pets4Homes, without corporate greed bleeding in to the Purchaser side of the equation.
What can you do?
Be vigilant, and don't believe everything you read. We are independently verified and our credibility is easily confirmed through numerous sources outside of Pets4Homes, not least of all The Kennel Club.
